What Are Delivery Times?
Boxes can be expected within 4-6 weeks of purchase unless otherwise specificed. Items must be selected, made, packaged, and/or shipped by Minx and Miss Morrigan before they are sent out for delivery.
What Is Magick?
Magick can mean many things to many people, but the most consistent definition across culture and time is "creating change through your conscious or unconscious willpower".
Everything you do each day is affected by the thoughts, patterns, and beliefs you hold in your subconscious.
At a base level, Magick acts to overide those 'factory settings' and place our chosen life standards in their place. These changes go beyond ourselves to affect those around us and reality as a whole.
Is Magick Made-Up Fantasy?
Magick and science actually go hand in hand. They do not conflict with one another. Magick could be viewed in modern times as the science of experience. Many parts of modern science come from druidic practices and alchemy.
Topics like art, philosophy, and psychology (which document and label aspects of magick) can never truly be viewed like mathmatics or chemistry because the scientific method demands repeatable results and results that can be viewed by more than one person.
How can someone else view your exact lived experience and how can that ever truly be repeated?
Recent findings into core aspects of these fields show they fail these areas of science because humans exist in private experiences that are very real, but can't be viewed or duplicated.
Reality as we know it is made up collectively of individual, private experiences that can't truly be explained using modern science. That is the framework of magickal practice.
How does Magick work?
Imagine the last commercial you saw. It probably had images, symbols, or words used to invoke a feeling or response from you.
Enjoying an ice, cold drink on the beach.
Eating a warm meal by a cozy fireplace in winter.
The fireplace and food are not physically there, but you can get physical results from thinking about them like goosebumps or a rumbling stomach. Science tells us psychosomatic symptoms and the effectiveness of placebos are examples of physical manifestations coming from our perception.
When you choose to do something like burning a red candle to represent courage or wear a gemstone necklace that represents peace, your subconscious mind will make adjustments to you and your reality that harmonizes with these new practices.
